Send us a text

In this episode, we will discuss extemporaneous preaching, or preaching without notes. While the thought of preaching with no notes is frightening to many preachers, there are ways we can hone our skills in this area. The challenge I want to lay before you today is to pray about the matter and ask the Lord to help you in the process of learning to preach without notes. Among other issues, this episode contains 6 tips that will help you be a better extemporaneous preacher.

Know your content.
Follow your outlines.
Embrace the idea that you will forget some things.
Embrace the mistakes you will make.
Enjoy the freedom of the sermon flow.
Stay in tune with the congregation.
