Alan Carr is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Lenoir, NC, where he has served for the past 20 years. Pastor Carr has been in the ministry for 39 years and has been a pastor since 1986.

During his ministry, Alan has prepared and preached well over 6,000 sermons. He has been a professor of homiletics for the past 23 years. Alan has a passion for preaching and preachers, that he hopes will be evident as he shares from his experience.

Pastor Carr is married to his teenage sweetheart Joan. They have been married for 41 years. They have two children, Nikki and Jesse. They have been blessed with 5 grandchildren.

Dr. Carr holds a Bachelor of Divinity, Master of Divinity, and Doctor of Theology degrees.
