55 - A Biblical View Of Pastoral Authority

Send us a text

John MacArthur said, “If Jesus, the sinless and perfect son of God, limited Himself to speaking nothing during his incarnation except the truth He received from His father, how much more should those who have been called into His ministry speak only on the authority of divine Scripture?”

No matter how you feel about MacArthur, he is right about this. Our only authority as preachers is when we stand on the authority of the Word of God. In this episode, we explore this topic. Your conclusions may not match mine, and that is ok. This is a discussion about a subject concerning which I possess strong opinions.

I would love to hear your thoughts. Reach out to me and let me know what you think.
